Sarah & David – 11th May 2018

There are some weddings I know I’ll always remember and Sarah and David’s was always going to be one of them. Sarah had told me when booking that her’s was going to be the last ever wedding at the Westwood Hotel in Dangan, a hotel very dear to my heart since I live only up the road, I pass it every day on the school run and have done so many weddings there over the years I couldn’t even count. However, when I arrived at Sarah’s house, it soon became clear that I was going to remember this wedding forever for much happier reasons. Firstly, Sarah’s dress… stunning doesn’t even come close to describing it. A silver, embellished, Game of Thrones style gown, the like of which I’ve never seen. Secondly, I realised very early on that Sarah and her bridesmaids were brilliant craic and had me in stitches all day. Thirdly, Sarah and David share my “enthusiastic appeciation” of Star Wars and walked out of the ceremony through a guard of honour made up of light sabres. Finally, the weather was superb, blue skies all the way for the Westwood’s last hurrah.
